Sponsorships, Fundraising & Grants Co-ordinator
Time Commitment:
- 6pm–11pm × 12 Friday Club Nights per year
- 1–2 Board Meetings monthly
- Additional time for fundraising campaigns, sponsorship outreach, and grant deadlines

What We Are Looking For:
A proactive and strategic thinker who can help secure financial and in-kind support for the Club through sponsorships, fundraising initiatives, and grant opportunities—ensuring the long-term sustainability of our programming.
When You Are Needed:
Outside of Club Nights
- Researching and writing grant applications
- Developing sponsorship opportunities and partnerships
- Planning and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives
Club Nights
- Connecting with sponsors and supporters in person
- Representing the Club and building relationships
- Supporting fundraising activities or special initiatives
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills
- Confidence in outreach, relationship-building, and networking
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Experience with or interest in grant writing and fundraising
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfort working collaboratively across teams
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities, including writing and submitting applications
- Support grant reporting and tracking requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors and community partners
- Create and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns
- Collaborate on sponsorship packages and donor recognition
- Work with the Communications Co-ordinator to align messaging and outreach
- Help ensure financial sustainability for Club programming and special projects

Requirements:
- Experience or strong interest in fundraising, sponsorship, or grant writing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Familiarity with the Calgary Folk Club or local arts community is an asset
